βοΈ How It Works:
β’ Β Β Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes vascular smooth muscle, reducing peripheral resistance.
β’ Β Β Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion.
β’ Β Β Their complementary mechanisms produce an additive antihypertensive effect, offering improved blood pressure control compared to either drug alone.
