2. How It Works
 Cefadroxil is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
 It is bactericidal and acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
 Specifically, it blocks the final cross-linking stage of peptidoglycan production by
binding to transpeptidase (a penicillin-binding protein), weakening the bacterial cell
wall and causing bacterial death.
