How It Works:

Indications:

Precaution:
Risk of acute pancreatitis with DPP-4 inhibitors. Discontinue immediately if pancreatitis is suspected or confirmed. Avoid re-initiation in such patients.

Warnings:
1. Hypotension Risk:
Empagliflozin may cause a drop in blood pressure; use with caution in elderly patients, those on antihypertensives, or those with cardiovascular disease.
2. Risk of Lower Limb Amputation:

3. Urinary Tract Infections:
