⚙️ How It Works
•    Doxylamine succinate: A first-generation antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors, reducing histamine effects in the GI tract, uterus, blood vessels, and bronchi.
•    Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6): Supports metabolic processes and may reduce nausea by influencing neurotransmitter function.
This combination reduces nausea and vomiting by acting on both histaminergic and central mechanisms.

•    Indicated for the management of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women, particularly in early pregnancy.

🚫 When Not to Use
•    Allergy to doxylamine, pyridoxine, or other antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine)
•    Concurrent use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)

💡 Precautions
•    Patients with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe NVP) should be evaluated and managed by a specialist
•    Use caution in patients with:
o    Narrow-angle glaucoma
o    Gastrointestinal obstruction, including pyloroduodenal obstruction
o    Asthma or chronic pulmonary disorders
o    Concurrent use of other sources of Vitamin B6

1.    Vitamin B6 Caution: Avoid combining with additional B6 supplements or multivitamins without medical supervision
2.    Eye Disorders: Use caution if you’ve had narrow-angle glaucoma
