How It Works
Fonaz Capsule contains Fluconazole, a triazole antifungal agent that works by inhibiting fungal
cytochrome P-450-mediated 14α-lanosterol demethylation—a critical step in ergosterol
biosynthesis. The depletion of ergosterol compromises the fungal cell membrane, ultimately
inhibiting fungal growth. Fluconazole exhibits selectivity for fungal over human enzymes,
reducing host toxicity.

Indication

When Not to Use
Contraindicated if:
