How It Works:
Sodium picosulphate is a stimulant laxative. It is metabolized by colonic bacteria into its active
form, which stimulates the mucosal lining of the colon, enhancing peristalsis (intestinal
movement). This promotes bowel evacuation typically within 10–14 hours after ingestion.
Usage and Safety
Dosage:
 Based on physician's advice. Usually taken at bedtime for effect by morning.
